낮 말은 새가 듣고 밤 말은 쥐가 듣는다.
Siang hari burung bisa mendengar perkataan,
Malam hari tikus bisa mendengar.
Artinya:
Kita tidak bisa menyembunyikan perbuatan buruk kita. Di dunia ini tidak ada rahasia.
Even in your thoughts, do not curse the king,
nor in your bedroom curse the rich,
for a bird of the air will carry your voice,
or some winged creature tell the matter. (Ecc 10:20)
